....is this rhubarb pie, substituting half of the rhubarb for freshly sliced strawberries. I used William Sonoma's double pie crust recipe (beautifully elastic and soft enough to melt in your mouth), and formed a lattice top glazed with egg white. Add vanilla ice cream and a couple good friends, some white wine, and you've made yourself a little slice of heaven. The perfect Friday night.
